Sneak peak at our shoulder holster.
Here it is, our long awaited shoulder holster. This holster was designed from the ground up for one purpose That was to allow the owners of a Springtac Holster the option of carrying their laser sighted weapon in a shoulder holster configuration. We should be able to take advanced orders in about two weeks.
Over 250 hours in research and development. Sixty hours in engineering. Hundreds of dollars in material.

We wanted comfort.

A day in the Springtac Holsters man cave
1-2-13, 7:00 AM. Eyes open with unaccustomed reluctance. Mind registering pain, head and body. The realization, “Oh shit” I think I’m sick. Cold, flue, bourbon? Cant be the bourbon? It’s never the bourbon. Nope, I’m sick. I have work to do and I don’t have time for this. Springtac Holsters will just have to function without me today. I need rest. Liquids. Bourbon is a liquid, right? I need to rest my mind too. 65 hour weeks. Holidays, family, friends, you know. No wonder I’m sick.
A cup of coffee in hand I head for the computer. Surly I can catch up on some computer work. Coffee, I love coffee. The good stuff. Cold filtered water. beans ground just before brewing. Coffee brewer that brews at 180 degrees. I can only hope my love of coffee remains after the violent experience I have in the bathroom. All coffee, only coffee. I may never drink coffee again. Thankfully, it wasn’t bourbon.
So much for work of any kind. No work on Springtac Holsters shoulder holster. No refining our line of laser sight holsters. They’re good but… Tac rail holsters, not today. Marketing? Forget it. Quick books? Not going to happen. It’s going to be a long day. Medicine, I need drugs. Surrender comes at the next bathroom visit when I might have caught a glimpse of the Hot Wheels car I lost when I was eight. Really haven’t missed it enough to retrieve it now. I might be hallucinating anyway.

I know, the man cave. My man cave. Leather furniture, big TV fireplace that burns wood. Yep, real wood. Oak, hickory, apple, and sometimes cedar just for the smell. A thick blanket, warm slippers, and a slight hint of Hoppe’s no. 9. Oh the memories of Hoppes #9.
I feel better already. Not really, it’s the meds. I don’t care, better is good. I like better. Except now the thoughts. Laser sight holsters. We are the only ones that devote 100% of our time, effort, and money to holsters for laser sighted weapons. We’re good, the best. But? what if? how about. Maybe we should… Got to call Jim. Shoulder holster that accepts Springtac Holsters. Laser sighted weapons carried in a shoulder holster? Really? Yes it’s happening. Right now! We are one component away from success. Just one nip, one tuck. People are waiting. Oh shit, whoosh thump, thump, thump, slam! The sound of me sprinting for the bathroom. Again. Sucks. I hate this. I so very hate this. I’m getting angry at being sick. Flush, and back hand wipe of slimy lips.
Deflated. Return to the cave, except now I’m dripping wet. Fever, I hate fever. Headache. Body hurts, more than usual. I should sleep. Nap. Liquid? Bour… Never mind. The cave has a back door. It’s 22 degree’s outside the man cave. There is a hot tub out there with the water set at 104 degrees. Just beyond that, an in ground pool. Water in the pool is a little hard now but it’s there. It will be there this summer when it’s 104 in the shade. It’s air conditioned too my cave. My house faces the south. The cave is on the north side, lower level. Yep you guessed it. If I open the main floor windows facing the south, and open the lower level north facing door, wind tunnel. You can actually feel your hair move. It’s wonderful. Still the air conditioner stands ready. I hate heat.
How does the human body sweat profusely while being chilled to the bone? My blanky. I want my blanky. And, my pillow, tissues, and my little garbage can. Just in case the exit demon sneaks up on me, again.
I have a drafting table in the Springtac Holsters man cave. I draft there, I conceptualize, I build mental things there. Sometimes I just sit there and open my mind. Today I sit in my drafting chair, by my drafting table, and wonder if I can make the fifteen feet to my chair, blanky, and my pillow. A mad dash and success, I made it.
Nope. Not today. I wont think about tac rail holsters. I wont think about holsters for laser sighted weapons. I wont try to improve our Mini which is designed to carry weapons like Rugers LC9 with a LaserMax Centerfire laser sight. And I wont worry about the Springtac Pocket Mini that carry most laser sighted 380′s like Rugers LCP.
Today I will rest, relax, enjoy my man cave (Between chills) Tomorrow, I hope will be better. I will work. I will think. I will perfect. And, when it’s time I will retire to the Springtac Holsters man cave. I will enjoy a wood fire with a hot tea. Mostly I will allow my mind to be free and come up with something for Springtac Holsters or the man cave.

How about it? What is a must in the complete man cave? What makes your man cave special? Music? Gun safe? fireplace?
Laser sighted weapons. Are they for you?
Shoulder holster setback
Yes, it’s true. The shoulder holster project has suffered a minor setback. The special component that allows you to use your inside the belt Springtac Holster in our shoulder Holster was been delayed. Mostly due to the holidays. We hope to be on track the first week of January.
